Making it! Discovery Centre is offering a whole variety of interesting things to do over the half-term holiday.
Monday 16th - 10.00 am to 12.00 noon
"Loaf and Death" : Adorable duo Wallace & Gromit are back!! Design a border, build a working clock with your favourite characters - Piella Bakewell, Fluffles, Wallace and Gromit (batteries supplied). You will also take home some cheese & crackers and recipes for cookies, bread and fairy cakes (from Top Bun).
Tuesday 17th - 10.00 am to 12.00 noon
"Magicial Moments" : Explore different magic tricks - take home tricks to confuse and amuse your family and friends. You will also be making a magician's wand and hat.
Wednesday 18th - 10.00 am to 12.00 noon
"Little Book of Secrets" : Design and make a secret message book to store important names, pictures and secrets (bring along a picture of yourself, someone special or a pet). We provide a tiny lock and key.
Thursday 19th - 10.00 am to 12.00 noon
"Madagascar Moments" : It's back - Madagascar - Escape 2 Africa.
You will be making an African scene - colouring/sticking and constructing - help Alex, Gloria, Melman and Marty Escape 2 Africa.
Friday 20th - 10.0 am to 12.00 noon
"Despereaux Mobile" : You will be designing and constructing a mobile to hang in your bedroom. Help Despereaux and Roscuro save the Kingdom of Dor.
Reward yourself with a few hours' peace! Leave your children with our capable staff (under 5's must be accompanied by an adult).
Sessions are suitable for ages 4 - 12. Booking essential.
