Be a Farmer for a Day

2 for 1 on Farm Helper days!

Throughout November, January and February, when you book one person into a Farm Helper Day you can have another person join you at no extra cost. So bring your Brother, Sister or one of your mates!

Here’s a wonderful way to find out more about our animals and how we look after them. Our special farmer days give you the chance to see how a real farm works and take part in feeding, grooming and mucking out.

The day’s activities can be organised around the things you’re interested in. So you might help our farmers collect some eggs, before bathing the tortoises and then grooming the ponies. Lunch is provided and you also get a t-shirt and a disposable camera (we’ll help you get some great snaps!). Farmer days start from £70 and last from 9.30am until 3.30pm.

We also run animal husbandry courses that allow you to learn about one particular type of animal. Costs for these range from £30 for an hour’s intensive training to £80 for a full day.

Please contact White Post Farm for booking and further details.
